V7 are working with a leading engineering client who operate in the Utility Industry & other industries. They are undergoing significant growth and expanding all areas of the business. They are looking to take on an Electrical Supervisor on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business and be part of the ongoing success. On offer is a salary of £44,000-£52,000 plus van & benefits. You will play an imperative role in the forward growth of the business and you will have significant opportunities to progress.
Key duties:
- Supervise and coordinate a team of electricians and apprentices on-site
- Plan, organize and monitor electrical works to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to specification
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with BS 7671 (18th Edition) and current regulations
- Liaise with project managers, clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety legislation
- Complete necessary documentation including risk assessments, method statements and certification
- Mentor and develop junior team members
