ob description: Gate and Barrier Engineer (Long-Term Temporary Contract) V7 are looking for experienced Gate and Barrier Engineers for a 5-year public sector contract with loads of ongoing work and excellent opportunities for long-term subcontract roles. This project is focused on housing developments, schools, and elderly care homes across the Buckinghamshire area. Our client is a rapidly growing national business specialising in the security and fire industry, delivering high-quality installation, service, and maintenance nationwide. The Contract * Service and maintenance work on gates and barrier systems. * Systems include: FAAC, CAME, RECORD, ASSA ABLOY, GAZE, TORMAX. * Covering public sector sites in the Buckinghamshire area. Benefits * Opportunities for skills development, working for a national client. * Monday–Friday work (weekend work available). * 6-month rolling contract, part of a 5-year project. * Up to £40 per hour. * Overtime available. * Ongoing contract with significant workload. * Outside IR35, weekly pay every Friday. Requirements * Experience in service and maintenance of gate and barrier systems. * Desired qualifications: DHF (gates). * Gate Safe accreditation desirable. * Experience working on commercial and residential sites, including schools and care homes. * DBS checked
