Fire & Security Service Manager

V7 Recruitment is seeking a Service & Operations Support Manager on behalf of our client. This role focuses on overseeing reactive, remedial, and small works calls, ensuring they are handled efficiently and in line with contractual KPIs. The position involves managing field-based engineers and subcontractors to maintain high standards of service delivery. Package Includes: Bonus : 10% annual Vehicle : Company car with mileage expenses covered Holidays : 22 days (increasing to 25) plus Bank Holidays, and an additional day off for your birthday Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage incoming reactive, remedial, and small works requests, ensuring prompt action by the engineering team within contractual guidelines. Arrange and oversee specialist subcontractor tasks as needed. Enforce company Health & Safety policies across operations. Implement and adhere to the company’s Quality & Environmental (Q&E) management systems within the scope of responsibilities. Provide holiday cover for both the Contract Manager and Operations Support Manager as required. Conduct post-inspection visits to ensure calls are completed to a high standard and engineer performance remains consistent. Fulfill any additional duties relevant to the role, as assigned by the Contract Manager. Operate in a hybrid capacity: 50% office/home-based and 50% field-based. Solid technical knowledge of Fire Systems, Door Entry, Access Control, and CCTV systems. Hands-on experience working with and supporting engineering teams. Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices. Competent in IT tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Familiarity with engineering planning software for dispatch and scheduling (desirable). Valid UK driving license (maximum of 6 points). Must pass a DBS check.
