We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager from a Joinery background to join a well-established and growing business within the Passive Fire Protection sector. This is a key role overseeing site operations, quality, compliance, and team performance across multiple projects. This opportunity offers long-term career progression within a forward-thinking organisation that genuinely invests in its people.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with BMTRADA standards and internal company systems
- Carry out timely site inspections and quality checks
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry using Simpro
- Full responsibility for site setup and final sign-off
- Manage site welfare, prelims, stock control, and deliveries
- Conduct site pre-condition surveys and post-install inspections
- Identify and raise any variations immediately with the Project Manager
- Lead, motivate, and manage trades and subcontractors on site
- Identify resourcing requirements and maximise productivity
- Deliver Simpro training to both subcontractors and the workforce
Client & Communication
- Attend pre-start and client meetings
- Ensure all sites remain tidy, well-presented, and professionally run
- Provide weekly client reports and attend progress calls as required
- Carry out resident liaison to clearly communicate works
- Provide consistent progress updates to the Project Manager
Health & Safety
- Implement and uphold company Health & Safety policies
- Ensure all works are carried out safely through regular audits and training
- Induct new trades and ensure all necessary H&S documentation is completed
- Deliver regular toolbox talks and ongoing H&S updates
