About the Role V7 is seeking skilled Fire Door Carpenters on behalf of a national client in the fire and security industry. This role is essential for enhancing fire safety and structural integrity across occupied and void social housing properties and other premises through expert carpentry work. You will be responsible for upgrading doors, frames, and door sets to meet current fire safety standards, as well as general carpentry duties on commercial sites. Please note: You must have your own van and tools to apply. Key Responsibilities * Upgrade and fit doors, frames, and door sets to comply with fire safety regulations * Construct building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes * Install windows, doors, cabinets, and countertops * Repair or replace damaged structures and frameworks * Carry out building repairs and maintenance, including emergency and planned refurbishment work * Handle heavy lifting of materials and equipment * Assemble and disassemble temporary structures Requirements * Proven experience as a Carpenter, specifically in fire safety improvements * Skilled in the use of hand and power tools * Knowledge of current building standards and fire safety regulations * Physically fit to perform heavy lifting and manual labor * Own van and tools essential * Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Qualifications & Certifications * Minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in Carpentry and Joinery * Awareness of fire safety in buildings * Need own vehicle and tools * Full clean UK driving license
