V7 Recruitment are currently working in partnership with a growing and well‑established fire & security business who are looking to add an experienced Fire Alarm Small Works Engineer to their team due to continued growth and increased workload across London and the Home Counties. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to join a reputable company with a strong pipeline of work and opportunities for further training and progression.

The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out small works installations, upgrades, fault finding and commissioning on a range of fire alarm systems across commercial sites. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, maintaining high engineering standards and delivering excellent customer service on site.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' hands‑on experience within the fire alarm industry
  • Strong installation experience across fire alarm systems
  • Good working knowledge of Advanced, Kentec, Morley, C‑TEC
  • Experience with Gent and Siemens panels would be advantageous, however training can be provided
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong communication, admin and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence

Package

  • Salary between £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
