V7 Recruitment is working with a major player in the security systems and access control sector, delivering work on government and blue‑chip client sites. We\’re looking for skilled GateBarrier and auto doors to Engineers to join on a long‑term sub‑contract basis, with the opportunity to self‑manage your workload and operate across multiple sites in Greater Manchester.
The Role
- Service, maintenance, and repair of gate/barrier systems and auto door systems (FAAC, CAME, BFT, etc.)
- Field‑based role, travelling from site to site (housing associations & commercial premises)
- Working with a mix of government and blue‑chip client contracts
- High volume of ongoing work with strong contract stability
What\’s on Offer?
- £37+ per hour, paid weekly (Fridays)
- Outside IR35
- 6‑month rolling contract with extensions likely — some engineers already into year 2+
- Flexible working – self‑managed schedule
- Overtime & weekend work available
- Real potential for permanent placement if desired
What We\’re Looking For
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining gate/barrier systems
- Familiar with FAAC, CAME, BFT or similar systems
- Experience working across commercial and housing sites
- DHF and/or ADSA certification preferred
- Valid DBS and driving licence essential
- INDFS clearance or willingness to obtain it
