Overview: We are working with a growing security and fire systems company looking to recruit experienced Security Engineers to support a portfolio of national contracts, including retail and banking sites across London and the Home Counties. This is an excellent opportunity for a security engineer with a strong background in intruder alarms and CCTV, who is open to training and development into access control and fire alarm systems. Previous experience with access control or fire panels is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, fault-finding and maintenance of intruder alarm and CCTV systems
- Working on live environments including retail and banking sites
- Completing works to a high standard in line with compliance and client requirements
- Liaising professionally with clients and internal teams
- Willingness to train on and support access control and fire alarm systems as required
Essential Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Security Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with intruder alarm systems and CCTV
- Product experience such as:
- Hikvision
- Honeywell Galaxy
- Texecom
- Pyronix
- Dahua (or similar)
Desirable (Not Essential)
- Exposure to access control systems (e.g. Paxton, Gallagher, PAC, Salto)
- Any experience with fire alarm panels
- ECS / CSCS or relevant industry certifications
