The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Buyer within the housing or construction sector
- Highly motivated with a proactive and ambitious attitude
- Strong organisational and management skills
- Confident managing a wide range of products across all stages of a build
- Excellent product knowledge and supplier awareness
Key Responsibilities:
- Office-based role, procuring all materials required for housing developments
- Ensure materials are delivered on time and within budget
- Identify and build relationships with potential suppliers and source new products
- Obtain and compare quotes on pricing and availability from multiple suppliers
- Track, manage, and report on the overall cost of new purchases
