The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced door entry and access control engineer to work across West London on a large residential housing contract. The role will involve servicing, maintaining and fault-finding on door entry and access control systems across multiple residential sites. This position forms part of a busy programme of planned maintenance and reactive works, with a strong focus on resolving issues quickly and completing repairs on the first visit where possible.

Key Details

  • Working hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm
  • Potential requirement for out-of-hours reactive works (paid at time and a half)
  • All work located within West London

Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain door entry and access control systems
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Diagnose and repair system faults
  • Complete job reports via Synch Pro system
  • Ensure first-time fix where possible
  • Manage small parts stock where required

Requirements

  • Experience servicing door entry and access control systems
  • Experience with Intratone systems would be beneficial
  • DBS check (required or willing to obtain)
  • Own vehicle (car or van)
  • Own tools
  • Ability to manage service schedules and reactive jobs
  • Strong fault-finding skills
