We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join a Major Projects Commercial team delivering large-scale, multi-million-pound construction projects across London. This role will involve working closely with Tier 1 contractors and key public and private sector clients, ensuring projects are commercially managed to the highest standards throughout the full lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial management of projects from inception through to completion, including cost control and billing
  • Preparation of cost plans, sales values, and margin forecasts
  • Supporting tendering, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations
  • Working closely with delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate reporting and communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor or commercial role within construction
  • Background in M&E, drylining, interfacing trades, or main contractor environments
  • Experience working on projects valued at £500k+
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • Strong commercial awareness, organisational, and communication skills
  • Experience within Passive Fire Protection is desirable but not essential.
