The predicted salary is between 35 - 35 £ per hour.

We are currently seeking an experienced Multiskilled Fire & Security Service Engineer to join a long-term student accommodation project based across Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent contract work with a well-established fire and security contractor. You’ll be working on a large student accommodation portfolio, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple occupied and newly refurbished sites.

Scope of Work

  • Servicing and maintaining fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, access control and intercom systems
  • Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive repairs
  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Small remedial works and system upgrades
  • Completing service reports and associated documentation
  • Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements
  • Delivering a high level of customer service whilst working within occupied buildings

Location

Work will be carried out across student accommodation sites throughout Manchester.

Contract Details

  • £33.00 - £35.00 per hour
  • Outside IR35
  • Weekly pay every Friday
  • 5-day working week
  • Overtime available
  • Enhanced overtime rates
  • Long-term project with consistent contract work
  • Immediate start available

Requirements

  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms and intercom systems
  • ECS/CSCS card preferred
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Own tools and transport
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
