About the Role

V7 Recruitment is working in partnership with a growing security integrator to recruit an experienced Technical Account Manager to support a major client account in London. This is a client‑facing role focused on managing the delivery and ongoing support of integrated security solutions, including CCTV, access control, and wider electronic security systems. The position is primarily off the tools; however, candidates must have a strong technical background and be capable of stepping in to support engineering teams when required. The successful candidate will act as the key link between the client, engineering teams, and senior stakeholders, ensuring projects and service delivery are completed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain relationships with a major London‑based client
  • Act as the main point of contact for all operational and technical matters
  • Oversee the delivery and support of integrated security systems including CCTV, access control, and related technologies
  • Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure successful delivery
  • Attend client meetings, site surveys, progress reviews, and operational meetings
  • Provide technical support and guidance to engineers when required
  • Assist with fault escalation, system troubleshooting, and technical problem solving
  • Ensure projects and maintenance activities are delivered on time and within budget
  • Identify opportunities for service improvements and account growth
  • Produce reports, project updates, and performance reviews for stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, health & safety regulations, and company procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience within the electronic security industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of integrated security systems including CCTV and access control
  • Ability to support technical teams and step in operationally when required
  • Excellent client‑facing and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
  • Experience managing key accounts or high‑profile clients
  • Commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Full UK driving licence preferred

Desirable Experience

  • Knowledge of enterprise‑level security systems and integrated solutions
  • Experience working in critical environments or large commercial sites
  • Understanding of SLAs, service delivery, and project coordination
  • Manufacturer certifications or industry qualifications advantageous
