V7 Recruitment are working with a global leader in the data centre industry who are looking for a Project Director to lead a Data Centre project in Finland! This is a full time role in Finland.

Ideal candidate

  • Proven experience delivering hyperscale or large data centre projects end‐to‐end
  • Strong background in construction, engineering, or project delivery (contractor, consultancy, or client‐side)
  • Demonstrated leadership of multi‐disciplinary teams and senior project managers
  • Deep understanding of commissioning, MEP systems, and integrated testing processes
  • Experience working on complex, high‐value, mission‐critical environments
  • Able to operate at both strategic and hands‐on delivery levels
  • Willingness to be based full‐time in Finland

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle delivery of large‐scale data centre projects from greenfield through to commissioning and handover
  • Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and wider delivery teams
  • Oversee programme, cost, quality, and risk across multiple projects or campuses
  • Drive contractor and consultant performance to meet project objectives
  • Ensure successful commissioning, integrated systems testing, and client handover
  • Act as the key interface between stakeholders, contractors, and internal leadership
  • Implement best practices in project delivery, governance, and reporting
