V7 Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established organization within the fire and security / access solutions sector. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking to recruit experienced Automatic Door Engineers for service and maintenance work across Central London.

The Role

  • Work Type: Service & Maintenance
  • Systems Covered:
    • Automatic Doors: Swing, Sliding, Bi-Fold
    • Industrial Doors: Roller Shutters, Sectional Overhead
    • Entrance Systems: Gates, Barriers & Access Control

Requirements

  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining automatic doors, shutters, gates, and/or barrier systems
  • Ability to fault find and carry out repairs independently
  • Experience working on commercial or high-traffic environments
  • Relevant industry qualifications (desirable but not essential): ADSA, DHF, ADIA, Gate Safe
  • DBS check (or willingness to obtain)

What’s on Offer

  • Day Rate: £300 – £350 (depending on experience)
  • Location: Central London
  • Contract Length: Initial 6‑month contract with strong potential for extension
  • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (overtime opportunities available)
  • Payment: Weekly
