V7 Recruitment are partnering with a leading data centre and mission‑critical construction business to appoint an experienced Electrical Construction Manager for a major hyperscale data centre programme in Northern Europe. This is a senior site leadership opportunity responsible for managing the successful delivery of electrical works across a large‑scale technical construction project. Working within an established project team, the successful individual will play a key role in driving programme performance, managing specialist subcontractors and ensuring electrical systems are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of electrical construction activities across assigned project areas, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, quality and safety objectives.
  • Lead site‑based teams and specialist electrical subcontractors throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive programme performance by monitoring progress, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate closely with project management, planning, engineering and commissioning teams to support successful project execution.
  • Review technical information, construction documentation and electrical design information to support buildability and efficient delivery.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, manpower levels and resource planning across multiple work fronts.
  • Lead construction meetings, progress reviews and coordination workshops with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety, quality and compliance across all site activities.
  • Support commercial performance through effective management of change, variations and package delivery.
  • Identify and resolve technical, installation and coordination issues before they impact programme milestones.
  • Support testing, commissioning, energisation, handover and project close‑out activities.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience operating as an Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Package Manager, Electrical Project Manager or similar site leadership role.
  • Strong background delivering electrical systems on large‑scale construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing specialist subcontractors and coordinating multiple project stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, programme delivery and site operations.
  • Ability to manage technical, commercial and operational workstreams within complex project environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical installation, commissioning and project delivery processes.
  • Experience within data centres, mission‑critical facilities, industrial, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing or similarly complex construction sectors would be highly advantageous.
