The Opportunity
V7 Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading provider of CCTV and Electronic Integrated Security systems who are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Engineer to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is either:
- Already working in a technical or electronic security environment, or
- Recently completed a relevant college course and looking to kickstart a hands-on engineering career.
You’ll receive structured, long-term training in the latest technologies across IP systems, structured cabling, CCTV, and access control — giving you the foundation for a rewarding and progressive career in the security industry.
The Role
As a Junior / Trainee Engineer, you’ll work as part of a friendly, supportive engineering team responsible for the installation, servicing, and commissioning of advanced electronic security systems. Initially, you’ll be fully supported by senior engineers and area service managers as you become familiar with company procedures, customer standards, and field operations.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Assist with installation and servicing of CCTV and access control systems
- Support senior engineers in field activities
- Learn fault-finding, diagnostics, and system commissioning
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone eager to learn, reliable, and motivated to build a career in the electronic security industry. You will have:

- Basic PC knowledge
