Software Engineers at V7 ensure that complex operations involving visual data can be performed smoothly through a high fidelity web interface at large scale – think applying foundation models like Gemini Pro to enable complex analyses across large financial documents. Our front-end is supported by highly talented designers who obsess over polish and want to build a complex AI product that feels as simple as using your favourite tools, like Linear, Notion, and Figma. Our back-end development is world-class, full of experienced engineers, and not short of challenges.

About the role:

As Product Engineer (Frontend), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our products. You will work within a cross-functional team, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality and intuitive user interfaces. You have extensive experience with Vue.js, React or similar toolkits, and vast exposure to working with highly interactive web platforms.

What you will be doing:

1. You will work closely with the Head of Design, and focus on designing highly responsive and carefully crafted front-end experiences for our AI products.
2. Collaborate with the product and design team as a whole to translate product requirements into scalable and performant frontend solutions.
3. Develop responsive and user-friendly products, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable user experience for our customers.
4. Implement and maintain frontend architecture, ensuring code modularity, reusability, and scalability.
5. Collaborate with QA engineers to implement and maintain automated testing processes.
6. Stay informed about the latest advancements in frontend technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team.
7. Contribute to the overall product roadmap by providing technical insights and recommendations.

Who you are:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 6+ years experience as a frontend focused engineer.
3. You are a strong design and usability focused front-end engineer, and come with a strong portfolio that showcases skills in developing interactive applications.
4. Proficient in Typescript and Vue.js or similar (React is also fine).
5. Solid understanding of responsive UX/UI design principles with an excellent attention to detail for product component design.
6. Obsessed about testing at different levels: unit-, integration- and end-to-end.
7. Previous background as a designer, or ex-creative (by education or craft) would be a huge plus.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
