V3 Recruitment are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join a busy chilled warehouse based in Hilsea. We have two shift patterns available:
- Shift 1 - 4 Days Sunday, Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7:00am - 7:00pm £12.71 per hour
- Shift 2 - 5 Days Sunday to Thursday 7:00am - 5:00pm £12.71 per hour
Both positions are initially temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidates. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced chilled warehouse, working with fresh produce including salads and ingredients. The environment is very cold, and the role can involve heavy lifting and cleaning duties, so applicants must be comfortable with physical work.
The Role:
- Picking and packing fresh produce orders
- Counting pallets and stock accurately
- Loading and unloading goods
- Ensuring orders are prepared correctly and ready for dispatch
- Moving stock safely around the warehouse
- Keeping the warehouse and working areas clean and organised
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent counting and numerical accuracy skills - essential
- Comfortable working in a cold/chilled environment
- Physically fit and able to carry out heavy work
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
Desirable - But Not Essential:
- PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) experience
- Manual pump truck experience
