Part Time Cleaner required – Portsmouth Based. ​ Job description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments. This position requires a proactive individual who can work independently and as part of a team, ensuring that all cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards. Duties Perform general cleaning tasks, including the following: Sweep and mop floors including lift floors Brush Skirtings Buff Floors Wipe Marks off walls Polish lights and door plates Clean windows in and out Check bin stores – if any rubbish on floor put in bin and sweep up Follow established cleaning protocols and health and safety guidelines. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure customer satisfaction. Experience Previous experience in a cleaning role Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
