Office based 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday The Business Our client is a renewable Energy business based in Fareham with a strong focus on customer care. The Role Playing a key role in continued expansion plans, the Purchasing Manager will be responsible for managing the efficient flow of parts from suppliers to customers, optimising supply chain efficiency & cost effectiveness Key responsibilities include- Day to day management of the Purchasing function including analysis of costs, lead times & service levels etc Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies and process improvements Implement sourcing strategies, with both new and existing suppliers including negotiation and performance Collaboration, support and auditing of existing suppliers Develop supply chain contingency plans and implement supply chain risk management programs.
