Role Overview: We are now seeking a highly motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Head of Sales to drive our sales team towards their targets within a high‑volume, car supermarket environment. Your key focus will be delivering measurable commercial performance across all core sales metrics. You will be accountable for driving sales volume and revenue growth, improving stock turn while effectively managing aged inventory, and maximising gross profit per unit as well as overall profit contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive volume, revenue, and profitability across all sites
  • Develop and execute a high‑performing sales strategy
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a large sales team to achieve targets
  • Monitor and manage performance using key KPIs
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience and drive retention
  • Maximise finance and value‑added product penetration
  • Maintain high standards of stock presentation and manage aged inventory
  • Use CRM and digital tools to streamline the sales process

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior automotive sales leadership role
  • Experience in a high‑volume dealership or car supermarket environment
  • Proven track record in hitting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership, people management, and team development skills
  • Excellent commercial awareness and data‑driven decision making
  • Understanding of the used car market and customer buying behaviours
  • Proficient in CRM and lead management systems
  • Full UK Driving License
