Today, we’re building the next chapter—combining deep financial expertise with a modern, digitally enabled approach to become the UK’s most trusted specialist lender. We’re now launching a new structured lending product within our Speciality Finance team—and we’re looking for an analytical, curious, and driven individual to help shape it from the ground up. This isn’t just a role where you’ll analyse data—you’ll influence lending decisions, help manage risk, and contribute to the growth of a new product in a collaborative, forward-thinking team.

What you’ll be doing

  • You’ll play a key role in understanding and shaping loan portfolio performance, supporting deal execution, and ensuring we manage risk effectively.
  • Deep dive into data & risk
    • Analyse loan portfolios, borrower profiles, and performance trends
    • Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities within complex datasets
    • Develop early warning indicators to flag emerging issues
  • Build impactful financial models
    • Create and maintain robust Excel models for cashflow forecasting and stress testing
    • Model structured lending scenarios, including cashflow waterfalls and sensitivities
  • Support deal structuring, pricing, and portfolio optimisation
  • Support lending decisions
    • Contribute to credit assessments and due diligence
    • Prepare clear, high-quality credit papers for stakeholders
    • Support transactions from initial evaluation through to completion
  • Monitor and communicate performance
    • Produce insightful reporting with clear commentary and recommendations
    • Track key metrics, covenants, and portfolio health
    • Help ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, and audit-ready

What we’re looking for
