We are looking for an Assistant Cost Consultant or Graduate with some post degree experience, who is looking to take the next step in their career and work in a small but busy team of surveyors based in MDA’s Hove office.
The role will involve travelling to sites across the South East of England and the applicant will need to have a full clean driving licence and use of their own car.
The role will involve providing advice and reports to clients and will suit someone who is interested in providing fund monitoring services as well as more traditional Quantity Surveying services.
Ideally candidates will have obtained an RICS recognised Quantity Surveying degree and will be expected to be working towards achieving MRICS accreditation. MDA is however more interested in selecting the right candidate who can work both independently and in a team and applicants with other relevant construction or building experience who are working towards MRICS accreditation will also be considered.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
• RICS recognised degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Post-qualification experience.
• South East based.
• Own car.
• Full clean driving licence.
•Strong understanding of construction cost and project management principles.
•Excellent written and verbal communication.
•Strong attention to detail.
Desirable:
Working towards MRICS qualification.
Experience in monitoring surveyor roles or fund monitoring.
Personal Attributes:
Eager to contribute to a small and busy team.
A team player who enjoys professional responsibility and autonomy.
