V-Recruit are looking for CSCS Commercial Landscape Operatives/Soft Landscape Operatives/Turf Layers to start work for one of our clients, based in Wakefield ASAP.

Duties to include working on various commercial projects around the Yorkshire area, completing various scopes of works including:

  • Turfing and lawn installation
  • Shrub and tree planting, including hedge planting and strimming
  • Seasonal planting schemes
  • Soil improvement and mulching
  • Irrigation systems
  • River & lake works

You will work in a team of 2-3 other operatives, or on larger projects as part of a larger team of up to 10 landscapers, to ensure works are delivered to client deadlines and standard expectations.

£16.38 per hour. Initially engaged through V-Recruit for 12 weeks, there are permanent contracts readily available for hardworking and reliable operatives. 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime becoming available.

The right candidate will have:

  • CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points
  • Own transport due to yard location
  • Previous commercial landscaping experience with references
