V-Recruit are looking for experienced Fence Erectors to start work in the Rotherham/Sheffield area as soon as possible. Our client is a well-known and reputable fencing and landscaping contractor that operates throughout Yorkshire and surrounding counties.

Day to day duties include working mainly on construction sites, erecting various types of fencing. We are able to offer temp to perm contracts, following a successful 3-month trial period with this client. Our client can offer year-round job security, enhanced training and career development for their committed staff, and an excellent opportunity to earn bonuses and attractive price-work overtime packages.

Starting rate is £16.38 per hour for 40-45 hours per week, Monday-Friday with 6am-7am starts (usually back in the yard by 3pm). Weekend work is available in busy periods. After the successful completion of your probationary period, the rate would increase to £17 per hour, and you would then be eligible for bonuses, with realistic earnings for the top fencing staff being in excess of £48k per annum, whilst still maintaining 3pm finishes each day.

The right candidates must have a CSCS card, own PPE, a full UK driving licence with less than 6 points, and have their own transport due to the remote yard location. Candidates should be ambitious and self-motivated, with extensive commercial fencing experience being essential.

Other tickets/certifications, such as NPORS/CPCS FTD/Roller, Cat & Genny, Level 2/3 NVQ in Fencing, Groundworks or Landscaping-related occupations are advantageous and may be offered to hardworking employees as professional development. We will ask for references.
