V-Recruit is a specialist recruitment company, focusing on providing exceptional services to clients and candidates within the construction industry and general business services sectors, including supplying the education industry. With a wealth of experience spanning over a decade in multiple-sector recruitment, we are knowledgeable, passionate, and thorough in all services that we offer.

We are looking to expand and develop our education department by employing an experienced Education Recruitment Consultant who knows the sector well and who is willing and able to build a successful desk. Alternatively, we may consider employing an experienced Recruitment Resourcer, who is experienced in supplying temporary and permanent staff to the education sector, who is interested in taking the step up into sales/account management.

Role Overview

  • Account management of existing and future company clients, ensuring that exceptional customer service is always given.
  • Growing existing and/or creating new business with existing contacts, or generating new leads/business.
  • Resourcing and actively searching for candidates to fill both temporary and permanent vacancies.
  • Advertising vacancies and managing applications.
  • Vetting candidates, including completing verbal references, right to work checks, qualification checks, and obtaining extensive candidate background information over the phone.
  • Assisting in the day-to-day activities of the business, including registering candidates, taking incoming telephone calls, chasing timesheets where required, as well as potentially assisting with other payroll and administrative duties.

Package Specifics

  • This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm (8am-4.30pm/8.30am-5pm rotating shifts).
  • Overtime may be required during busy periods to meet business demand; time is always given back in lieu, or paid overtime where previously agreed with the company.
  • Salary to be discussed, depending on experience.
  • Ideally this role will be fully office based at our Hellaby based offices, although some flexibility with this may be considered for the right person.
  • Excellent, uncapped bonus potential for Consultants, but also for successful Resourcers on both temporary and permanent placements.
  • 30 days per annum annual leave (including public bank holidays), increasing with service up to 33 days.
  • Comprehensive Private Healthcare Insurance for all employees.

What we can offer you

  • We are a family run business, and with a family run business comes family values; we want to assure all applicants that you would be working in an open and inclusive environment.
  • Transparent and generous bonus structures for exceeding both sales and resourcing targets.
  • We would always look to develop our staff members, with training opportunities, exceptional earning potential and the freedom to work with clients of their choice.
  • We can offer you the opportunity to work for a small, but dedicated and passionate company where, as a salesperson and consultant, you will be able to build and shape your own desk the way you want to, providing our core standards and values are upheld.
  • Sick of the usual recruitment environment where toxicity is the norm? V-Recruit are proud to boast that we have a very low staff turnover! We are not in the business of using and abusing people, or for taking people on for short term employment. We look after our staff well, and like to think that we offer a comfortable, light and friendly working environment.
  • Regular staff days/nights out all expenses paid! (We recognise the value of happy staff!)

The Person

  • We are looking to employ a hardworking, dedicated, and resilient individual who is passionate about recruitment and providing exceptional services to both clients and candidates.
  • Previous experience in education recruitment is needed for this role, but we may also consider applications from experienced Consultants from other sectors i.e. Commercial/Business Services or Construction.
  • We are looking for an experienced Recruiter, whether this is in resourcing or sales, who can hit the ground running and help our growing business succeed and flourish.
  • For this role you must be able to work under pressure and must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, whilst maintaining exceptional standards of service.
  • You must be self-motivated and be used to working to deadlines.
  • You must be dynamic, self-aware, and personable, who can work within and add value to a small team.
  • You must be a team player, who will assist with other areas of the business where required.
  • Ideally you will have a full UK Driving Licence and access to your own transport.
