V-Recruit are looking for 3 x CSCS Landscaping Operatives/Landscape Gardeners/Landscape Labourers to start work in the LN6 area of Lincoln as soon as possible. With temp to perm contracts available, this is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with interests and ideally some experience in soft landscaping and all things horticulture to put their passion and experience to work. £16.38 per hour whilst through V-Recruit. Temp to perm contracts available, 40-45 hours per week. Progression available.
Duties:
- Carry out landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, turfing, and soil preparation both in environmental and construction site settings.
- Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment such as rotavators, mulchers, shovels and spades.
- Assist with construction activities related to landscaping projects, including digging, top soiling, turfing, breaking out ground, stone picking.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and ensure proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed.
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Work within your team to ensure targets are met, surrounding meterage for turf laying, potentially some fencing, following planting schemes etc.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding project specifications and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Valid CSCS card is essential.
