V-Recruit are looking for 3 x CSCS Landscaping Operatives/Landscape Gardeners/Landscape Labourers to start work in the LN6 area of Lincoln as soon as possible. With temp to perm contracts available, this is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with interests and ideally some experience in soft landscaping and all things horticulture to put their passion and experience to work.
£16.38 per hour whilst through V-Recruit

Duties
- Carry out landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, turfing, and soil preparation both in environmental and construction site settings
- Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and specialised equipment such as rotavators, mulchers, shovels and spades
- Assist with construction activities related to landscaping projects, including digging, top soiling, turfing, breaking out ground, stone picking
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and ensure proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations
- Work within your team to ensure targets are met, surrounding meterage for turf laying, potentially some fencing, following planting schemes etc.
- Follow instructions from supervisors regarding project specifications and deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card is essential
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, irrigation systems, and construction equipment is advantageous
- Familiarity with hand tools and their safe use in landscaping tasks
- Previous experience in construction or grounds maintenance is beneficial
- Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork ethic with good communication skills
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in horticulture or construction are a plus
We will ask for references, and ideally the candidate must have their own transport (ideally full UK driving licence) due to early starts and remote yard location.
