V-Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter, on behalf of an Engineering and Construction contractor, based in the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire. This is a permanent role.
Duties to include:
- Maintain, service, diagnose and repair Heavy Plant Equipment, such as Wirtgen, JCBs etc.
- Ensure completion of company documentation relating to heavy plant.
- Fault finding, inspections and repairs on small plant will also be required, i.e. multidrill, angle grinders etc.
- Occasionally, you may have to travel to sites to complete repairs; you will receive additional pay for this.
- Use and operate workshop facilities and equipment in accordance with company and legislative requirements.
- Must be able to make decisions and problem solve.
Normal working hours are 8am-4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Ad hoc overtime is available, paid at enhanced overtime rates. Negotiable rate, D.O.E. This is a permanent role, with direct employment with our client or temp to perm through ourselves.

- A professionally recognised qualification in Plant Maintenance NVQ Level 3 or City experience.
