V-Recruit are working in partnership with a well-established client in the hospitality and hotel sector, based in Rotherham, to recruit an experienced Financial Controller on a full-time Permanent basis. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making to drive business performance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To input all financial data on Sage software, ensuring that authorisation and documentation are received from the appropriate members of staff, and filed accessibly.
  • Preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, purchasing, maintaining accounts payable terms.
  • Oversee payroll, VAT returns, and all tax-related matters.
  • Liaise with external auditors, banks, and other financial stakeholders.
  • Implement and improve financial systems, controls, and processes.
