V-Recruit are looking for an Assistant Site Manager to start work on a project in Burnley, Lancashire ASAP. Our client is a Landscaping Contractor, specialising in Hard and Soft Landscaping and grounds maintenance and have a key project in Burnley starting in early March for a duration of 6 months.
This permanent role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is wanting to progress into site and project management. Our client is open to applications from candidates who are wanting to step up into management from a groundworks or landscaping role, or develop their management skills.
Your main duties will be to work alongside the current site manager, completing most of the IT-based tasks and supporting with the day to day running of the project.
- £30-35k per annum, depending on experience.
- This is a permanent role, with direct employment with our client.
- Travel around the Northwest & Midlands (East and West) will be required after this project is completed.
- 40-45 hours per week as standard.
- Progression opportunities are available.
The right candidate will have their CSCS, SMSTS (SSSTS may be considered), and ideally First Aid.
The project will include lots of Drainage, Earthworks and Road builds, so we are looking for someone with some relevant experience, either in management, groundworks or landscaping.
