Overall Purpose of the Job
This role’s mandate is to drive proper adoption of ShipSure across the organisation as the core operational platform, working with the technology team to continually strengthen the experience of colleagues and clients. It also involves showcasing ShipSure’s features to existing and new clients and building an informal network of V. Group contacts.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Ensure all users of ShipSure within the office and region know how to best use the product and drive adoption.
- Lead demos of ShipSure to existing clients, other business units, and colleagues within VGroup.
- Demonstrate ShipSure to potential clients, highlighting functionalities that meet their operational requirements.
- Build and expand the ShipSure Superuser Community to influence increased usage across business areas.
- Persuade leadership to drive adoption of ShipSure usage for their regions/teams.
- Provide coaching on ShipSure usage with a “hands‑off” approach to foster self‑reliance.
- Collaborate with the wider Product Genius community to align focus areas, priorities, and best practices for adoption.
- Promote a culture where ShipSure usage enhances individual and overall operational effectiveness.
Essential Qualifications
- Highly IT‑literate with strong ERP experience.
- Passionate about education and able to instruct in a “hands‑off” manner.
- Good understanding of the maritime industry.
- Experience in a specialty area such as Planned Maintenance, Accounts, Procurement, or Workforce management.
- Skilled at highlighting key feature sets and aligning them to new client operations.
- Proficient at coaching individuals, small teams, and larger groups.
- Strong business relationship builder, working in partnership with all departments and management across V.Group.
- Able to build and maintain demonstration scenarios ready for rapid deployment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in coaching and teaching an advantage.
- Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and able to adhere to a tightly structured training/rollout schedule.
- Adroit at recommending support options and using varied training methodologies.
- Positive, proficient communicator (verbal and written).
- Confident presenter and fast learner who enjoys learning new things.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Able to identify common knowledge gaps among colleagues and deliver coaching sessions.
- Positive ambassador of ShipSure.
- Confident in structuring and delivering webinars.
- Able to work well with colleagues and assist them to get the most from ShipSure.
