Key Responsibilities
- Ordinary Seaman (OS) are responsible for executing essential sea and port watch duties under the supervision of the Bosun or a designated officer.
- Performing lookout and helmsman duties on the bridge.
- Assisting with mooring operations.
- Conducting regular safety and security rounds.
- During cargo operations, maintaining a safe deck watch.
- Ensuring the vessel remains securely moored.
- Assisting with tank cleaning or hold sweeping as required.
