V.Ships Leisure is looking for a World Cruise Host on behalf of Azamara. The World Cruise Host (WCH) serves as the primary point of contact for guests booked on the entire duration of the World Cruise, providing a consistent, dedicated presence from embarkation through disembarkation while other guests join and depart around them. The WCH is responsible for every detail of these guests' bookings — dining, shore excursions, land tours, exclusive events, and other reservations — ensuring a seamless experience throughout the voyage. This is a traveling role centered on visibility and accessibility, including daily desk hours, hosted dinners and events, and pre-voyage planning support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum of three years' experience in entertainment or in a luxury resort environment (shipboard experience preferred).
  • Confident public speaking and hosting ability, comfortable engaging both small and large guest groups.
  • Demonstrated ability to confidently engage and present to guests using effective microphone technique and stage presence.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Superior customer service, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong administrative and multi-tasking abilities across programming, dining, shore excursion, land tours, and event bookings.
  • Intermediate computer software skills required, including familiarity with Seaware or similar guest management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely during the pre-voyage planning period.
