The Tunnelman supports the safe and efficient operation of the vessel’s self-unloading system, assisting the Head Tunnelman and reporting to the Chief Engineer. This role focuses on the maintenance and operation of non-electrical self-unloading machinery and equipment, including conveyor belts, belt tunnels, rollers, bearings, hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and associated structures.
The Tunnelman is expected to:
- Prepare belt tunnels for cargo discharge
