V.Ships Leisure is looking for Housekeeping Steward on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. The Housekeeping Steward is responsible for cleaning duties in all passenger public areas, in respect of Orient Express standards and USPH guidelines. The Housekeeping Steward is also responsible to report all maintenance issues to his/her supervisor for prompt resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning of all passenger public areas, which includes lounges, stairs, spa, passageways, landings, elevators, restaurants and bars (in collaboration with restaurants and bars teams), etc.
- Cleaning of all offices as per schedule, cleaning/replenishing coffee/tea stations as required.
- Handles and delivers room service orders during night shifts.
- Active participation in onboard training programs.
- Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Languages: Fluent English.
- Education: High school degree or related.
- Previous professional experience: 1 year in a similar capacity in a luxury environment.
- Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred.
- Valid STCW certificates.
- Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
- C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
