Main responsibilities:
- Working under direct supervision of the Hotel Service Engineer to address any issues related to guest and crew accommodations or facilities.
- Working closely with all technical sub-departments and other departments onboard.
- Communicating and coordinating instructions between various departments and sub-departments to ensure the smooth operation of all shipboard activities.
- Maintaining detailed logs and records of defects.
- Adhering and complying with all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives.
- Performing duties and tasks according to above but not limited to that.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend passenger social events as directed by the Head of Department.
- Partake in inspections, trainings and meetings as directed by the Head of Department.
- Other shipboard tasks pertaining to departmental operations as directed by Head of Department.
- Attending trainings and office visits arranged by Ships Leisure where possible.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
- Valid STCW95 certification.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Physically and medically fit.
- Moral integrity is required.
- Experience in a previous administrative position preferably in a crewing, clearance or Human resources field.
- Shipboard experience is considered an asset.
