V.Ships Leisure is looking for Bar Utility on behalf of Orient Express Sailing Yachts. The Bar Utility works behind the scenes to make sure that guests enjoy their visit to our bars. As a Bar Utility, you will support bar operations by assisting bartenders and waiters, keeping bar areas clean, and ensuring that your work area is well stocked with beverages, ice, glassware, and other supplies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
  • Assist team in providing luxury beverage and canapés service to guests in a courteous and professional manner according to Orient Express standards.
  • Perform cleaning duties within the assigned bar, both front of the house and back of the house, in accordance with USPH guidelines.
  • Enforce adherence to the drinking age policy.
  • Assist the bar personnel as needed.
  • Active participation in onboard training programs.
  • Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

  • Languages: Fluent English.
  • Education: High school degree or related.
  • Previous professional experience: 1 year experience in bar, preferably as Utility.
  • Shipboard experience: Not required but preferred.
  • Valid STCW certificates.
  • Valid Pre-Employment Medical.
  • C1D visa mandatory for all positions.
