Overall Purpose of The Job
The overall purpose of this role is to develop and deliver a cohesive internal communications strategy that aligns employees with the Group’s business priorities, leadership vision, and cultural objectives. It ensures clear, consistent and engaging communication across global audiences, particularly during leadership initiatives, organisational change and major business transformations.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Internal Communications Strategy & Delivery
- Support the development and execution of the Group internal communications strategy, aligned to business priorities and cultural objectives.
- Translate the business and leadership priorities into clear, consistent and engaging internal messaging.
- Plan and deliver internal communication campaigns across multiple channels and audiences globally.
- Executive Communications
- Develop communication materials for senior leaders, including presentations, announcements and talking points for internal comms activities such as town halls.
- Support the Group Communications Director, CEO and Executive Team with internal messaging, including leadership updates and strategic announcements.
- Provide guidance to senior leaders on communication tone, clarity and engagement.
- Town Halls & Leadership Engagement
- Plan, manage and deliver global and regional town halls, including content development, messaging, logistics and follow‑up communications.
- Support leadership roadshows, site visits and employee engagement sessions.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all leadership communication forums.
- M&A and Change Communications
- Support communications for mergers, acquisitions, integrations and major organisational changes.
- Develop communication plans, leadership messages, FAQs and employee materials for key transactions or change programmes.
- Work closely with HR, Legal and business leadership to ensure clear, timely and aligned communication.
- Channels, Content & Campaigns
- Manage core internal communication channels, including intranet, email communications, leadership videos and internal social platforms, ensuring we continuously operate at the leading edge and consider best‑in‑class channels.
- Create and oversee engaging content, including articles, videos, presentations and employee stories.
- Ensure high editorial standards, consistency of tone and alignment with the corporate narrative.
- Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor internal communication effectiveness using engagement metrics, surveys and feedback.
- Identify opportunities to improve channels, formats and employee engagement.
- Contribute to the development of best practices, toolkits and communication frameworks.
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Act as a key partner to HR, business leaders and functional teams on internal communication needs.
- Coordinate with regional and business unit communication leads to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Support agency partners or external suppliers where required.

Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or a related field.
- 8–10 years’ experience in internal communications, corporate communications or employee engagement roles.
- Experience supporting senior leadership communications in a complex, global organisation.
- Experience delivering internal communications for organisational change, transformation or M&A activities.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
- High attention to detail and strong editorial judgement.
- Experience managing executive communications and leadership messaging.
