Description

  • Responsible to the Bosun / Supervising Officer for:
  • Performing lookout and helmsman duties during navigation watches on the bridge.
  • Carrying out maintenance work and other operational tasks as required.
  • Assisting in mooring operations when required.
  • Adopting safe working practices.
  • Conducting Safety and Security rounds as instructed by the Bosun / Supervising Officer.
  • Responding to Deck Officers regarding the maintenance of a safe deck area and ensuring that the vessel remains properly moored.
  • Assisting in cargo operations (including tank cleaning and sweeping), as requested by the Chief Officer and/or the Officer of the Watch.
  • Executing any other tasks or assignments as instructed by the Bosun / Supervising Officer.
