Description
The Cook is responsible to the Master for the overall management of the Catering Department, focusing on food safety, nutrition, and inventory control.
Key duties include ordering provisions, ensuring the proper segregation and preservation of food in various storage conditions, and preparing healthy, varied meals in a hygienic environment.
The role also involves maintaining the galley and storerooms to high sanitary standards and providing regular consumption reports to the Master.
