V.Ships Leisure is looking for Cruise Staff on behalf of MSC Cruises. Are you ready to bring joy and excitement to life at sea? As a vital part of our Entertainment Team, your purpose is to create unforgettable experiences for our guests on board. You will lead dynamic events, host engaging activities, and be friendly, ensuring our guests are always entertained. Whether itβs hosting trivia nights, organizing themed parties, or simply sharing a warm smile, your energy and enthusiasm will shape the spirit of our cruise experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Cruise Staff Manager-Cruise Activities Manager in all entertainment activities and games on board and ashore (ex. Islands).
- These activities include, but are not limited to:
- Games by or in swimming pools
- Tournaments and sports activities (using prescribed standard procedures where these exist).
- Games and activities in lounges
- Cultural activities
- Mimes, plays, concerts and other performances as directed by the Cruise Staff Manager - Cruise Activities Manager.
- Board games and close-up activities
- Trivia, talent shows, and other Passenger-involvement activities
- Workshops of graphic or body expression, dance classes, arts and crafts, language lessons, etc.

Translation help
- Embark & Debark duties
- Shore Excursions
- Cruise Director support
- Shore activities
- Governing Status
- Help other members of the entertainment team with language or translation when this becomes necessary.
- When required by the Cruise Director be present during embarkation and disembarkation of Passengers, offering welcome on board, and good wishes at the end of a cruise.
- Participate in shore excursions in the role of an escort, representing the Company, and offering reassurance, high visibility and socializing to Passengers on those excursions:
- Reporting any problems, shortcomings and difficulties connected with the excursion to the Shore Excursion Manager at the end of the excursion.
- Provide general assistance as required by the cruise Director at all performances. These duties include, but are not limited to:
- Monitoring door access
- Assistance for performers
- Taking part in performances
- Guiding Passengers
- Assist and co-operate as required at Beach landings and ports where tendering may require entertainment support.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, youβll need:
- Previous experience in entertainment roles.
- The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus (Japanese/Korean/Russian).
- Availability to travel and work for extended periods at sea.
- A love for engaging with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
