Description
The Able Seaman (AB) is responsible for executing essential sea and port watch duties under the supervision of the Bosun or a designated officer. During cargo operations, they are tasked with maintaining a safe deck watch, ensuring the vessel remains securely moored, and assisting with tank cleaning or hold sweeping as required. They perform lookout and helmsman duties on the bridge, assist with mooring operations, and conduct regular safety and security rounds.
