About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Print Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in preparing accurate cost estimates for printed materials, collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The candidate will also be working alongside our in-house development team to create and onboard our proprietary Estimating Software Solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for a wide range of printed materials, including Point of Sale (POS) items.
  • Collaborate with clients, sales, and production teams to understand project requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure material availability.
  • Assist in creating project proposals and tender documentation.
  • Ensure all estimates align with client budgets while maintaining profitability.
  • Monitor project timelines and costs to ensure estimates remain accurate throughout the production process.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in print estimating or a similar role within the print industry.
  • Strong understanding of print processes, materials, and production techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with print management software or estimating tools.
  • Knowledge of large-format, digital, and lithographic printing methods.
