Position Overview: Assistant Curriculum Leader for Mathematics at Uxbridge High School Academy Trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Curriculum Leader in developing teaching and learning, raising achievement, and maintaining high standards across the mathematics department.
  • Play a key role in improving student outcomes, supporting colleagues, and shaping the direction of the curriculum.
  • Deliver Mathematics instruction across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including A Level, while prioritising leadership activities.
  • Collaborate with staff to implement a spiral curriculum, data‑driven assessment and professional development.

  • Passion for placing students at the heart of the curriculum and ensuring meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
  • Commitment to overcoming barriers and enabling every student to achieve exceptional progress.

  • Eligible teacher, including Early Career Teacher, with potential for outstanding delivery.
