Payroll Assistant
Office based/Permanent Opportunity – Ruislip
Salary: up to £30k
We are looking for a Payroll Assistant to join a client based in Ruislip. The role involves running a complex and fluctuating payroll three times a week with around 1,500 timesheets that need to be processed.
Responsibilities
- Review the incoming timesheets, paying particular attention to dates, timesheet approvers and hours.
- Input timesheet data into the payroll system.
- Process holiday requests.
- Ensure the correct tax codes are applied.
- Run the full payroll cycle together with other payroll assistants and perform BACs transmissions.
- Process Deductions of Earnings (DOE\’s) and other statutory payments as required.
Qualifications
- Weekly payroll experience is a distinct advantage, but not essential.
- Excellent numeracy skills (GCSE grade C a minimum).
- Working towards / willing to work towards CIPP courses.
- Ability to deal with multiple tasks and queries.
- Intermediate Excel experience.
- A logical approach and excellent attention to detail.
