Overview

HR Advisor- One year maternity cover (start December 2025)

£40,000 • Ruislip • My client a superb organisation that is experiencing huge growth year on year is now seeking a HR Advisor to cover for a year-long maternity contract. This position will commence in December 2025 and will complete in March 2027. You will need to be a car driver as the position will sometimes involve travelling to other sites in the UK. The position will involve a great deal of advisory work as well as a great deal of ER.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of HR in implementing HR strategies
  • Provide ER guidance to management
  • Act as an employee champion to drive engagement and retention initiatives
  • Provide companywide HR data insights
  • Manage holiday and attendance for monthly paid staff
  • Ensuring full compliance across the department
  • Line managing a junior member of staff
  • Some travel on occasion to other sites to perform grievance processes

The successful candidate will be positive in approach and have the capability to manage multiple priorities. Good knowledge of employment legislation and upcoming changes is very important.
