We’re working with a growing local business who are now seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in day-to-day operations, leading a small team, ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched efficiently, and that stock levels are well managed using the company’s ERP/WMS system. You’ll be responsible for maintaining stock accuracy, leading daily team activity, and helping to drive continuous improvement across processes. The business moves quickly – so the ability to stay calm under pressure and juggle competing priorities is key.
What you’ll be doing:
- Overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Managing goods-in, stock control, and cycle counts using ERP/WMS systems
- Supporting and motivating warehouse operatives to meet KPIs and performance targets
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and boost productivity
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety procedures and company standards
- Liaising with internal departments to resolve stock or operational queries
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar team lead position
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods-in, stock control and order fulfilment
- Confident using ERP or WMS systems (Oracle advantageous)
- Good IT skills, particularly Excel
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a small team
- A hands-on approach with a high level of attention to detail
- Forklift licence preferred
- First Aid certificate desirable
