We re looking for a hands-on Warehouse and Transport Manager to oversee day-to-day operations for a longstanding distribution business in Uxbridge. This is a pivotal role managing both warehouse and transport functions, offering variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact.

What you ll be doing:

• Coordinating inbound and outbound goods, including planning and picking
• Leading and motivating the warehouse team to ensure strong productivity
• Managing stock levels, inventory accuracy, and warehouse layout
• Maintaining health & safety standards and ensuring compliance
• Overseeing quality control and implementing process improvements
• Route planning for a small multi-drop fleet and managing drivers
• Acting as keyholder with open/close duties
• Ensuring compliance with fleet and O Licence regulations

What we re looking for:

• Previous experience in a Warehouse and Transport Manager role or similar
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Working knowledge of reach and counterbalance forklifts (refresher training available)
• Good understanding of stock control and warehouse best practices
• IT confident with an eye for detail and organisation
• Experience in route planning and managing delivery operations
• Clean driving licence and excellent reliability
